Date: July 23, 2012
Area: Frisco Texas
Companion: Elder Nelson Los Angeles CA

Hello Everyone,
It has been a bit of a different week here. Elder Christman went home this week to prepare for his mission call to come, so I will be anxiously waiting to know where he will be going. On Thursday, we drove down to Dallas to meet with President Durrant. There we found out he would be going home for a short time. Friday morning he was picked up and I was put with an elder that was serving in a trio in my district. It was sad to see Elder Christman go. I knew it was going to happen at the end of the transfer, so I was prepared for that, but it came as a bit of a shock this week. I am with Elder Nelson. He is from Los Angeles, CA and is going home next week, so we will only be together for a short while. Lots of work to be done in that time though.
We are working hard at using our time wisely and having a meaningful activity for each hour of the day. Our church schedule has about an hour gap between meetings, so we grab a snack and then go out to knock doors. We hadn't seen any success from the weeks we had gone out and worked, but we felt we had used our time wisely and blessings would come later. Yesterday, we continued with our routine; eat a quick snack and then get out to work. About 30 minutes later, we knocked on a man's door who is currently dating a member of the church. His girlfriend's father has been talking with him about the church and he expressed he was open to the message and would like for the missionaries serving in that area to come back and teach him. It was a great example to me that if we plan the Lord will put us in the paths of others who are in need of the gospel. Hopefully things will play out well and he will progress. I am so thankful to be a missionary and serve the Lord. There are great miracles happening all around us. I love this church and know the Lord hears our prayers and answers them. We feel so blessed to serve in the Texas Dallas Mission.
Thank you for all of your letters and prayers.
With love,
Elder Seager
